About

Find the Beloved takes its name and inspiration from the life and works of Shyamdas—bhakti pioneer, bhav pandit, kirtan singer, and best friend to thousands—who once sang “Find the Beloved with the Beloved name.”

Find the Beloved donates a percentage of profits directly to the Shyamdas Foundation projects in India.

Find the Beloved founder Vallabhdas (M.A., University of Washington, Asian Languages and Literature) is a scholar of Sanskrit, Brajbhasha, Hindi and Persian and a Vaishnava from the Pushtimarg Vallabha Sampradaya. As the lead editor of Pratham Peeth Publications since 2005 he worked with Shyamdas to publish eight books on bhakti literature, many of them translations from Brajbhasha and Sanskrit.
